Alberta Snowboarding Provincials this weekend at COP!

Along with the 'weather' arrival of winter comes the arrival of a fittng winter-esque event as the Alberta Snowboard Provincials are set to take place this weekend, January 13-15 at Winsport's Canada Olympic Park.  The weekend kicks off on Friday night at 5:00 PM with the Junior Jam followed by two full days of action from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM featuring Slopestyle on Saturday and Halfpipe on Sunday.

 

If you are interested in entering the event instead of just watching, all participants must be members of Canada~Snowboard & Alberta Snowboard.  To register online go to www.canadasnowboard.ca.  Helmets are mandatory for all riders during training & competition!

 

Hopefully the frigid temperatures will hold off until Monday making for a great event for both spectators and participants.
