Another great Best of Calgary NW event is taking place this weekend as the Calgary Bike Swap is set to go on Saturday, May 28 at the West Hillhurst Community Association.The swap is a unique event that showcases hundreds of used bikes consigned from local sellers in one mad scramble setting. Last year over 85% of the bikes were sold within the first hour and by the end of the event, just under 90% of the bikes found new owners.
Doors open for buyers at 12:30 PM and the sale runs until 4:00 PM; so obviously if you are looking to pick up a bike at a great price, be there early!
If you are looking to sell your bike (in good working order of course), arrive at the community association between the hours of 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, a tech will do a quick rundown on your wheels and then you can register your ride for inclusion in the sale. There are fees for sellers dependant on the price of your bike.
