A busy event weekend in NW Calgary as the Annual Stampeders Fanfest is set to go on Saturday, May 28. The event has been moved indoors to the Viper Dome, located adjacent to McMahon Stadium, due to the unseasonal 'Vancouver-ish' weather forecast.The day kicks-off at 8:30 AM with a pancake breakfast in the East parking lot of McMahon Stadium, the Stamps Store opens at 9:00 AM and doors to the main event at the Viper Dome open up at 9:30 AM and festivities run until 2:00 PM.
Fans of all ages will be able to meet, take photos with and get autographs from players, coaches, the Outriders and Quick Six, the Stamps touchdown horse...OK, maybe no autographs from Quick Six, but you get the idea. Thje Grey Cup will also be on hand for fans to get their photo with and there will be a collection for the Slave Lake relief efforts.
